Youth Automotive Training Center Honors the Class of 2021

<p>Each year the Youth Automotive Training Center selects a small group of students who have exemplary accomplishments or characteristics for special awards. The 2021 Award Winners are (from left) Orville Stewart, Dembhard Brooks, Ryan Lucas, Raul Cruz, Nicholas Gonzalez and Alester Arscott.</p>
<p>Nicholas Gonzalez, 20, received the Bruce Rossmeyer Memorial Kick Start Scholarship Award. This special recognition includes a full-tuition scholarship to attend a technical / vocational school. Rossmeyer, founder of Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley-Davidson and Daytona Toyota, was a devoted friend and generous supporter of the Youth Automotive Training Center. Gonzalez also received an Outstanding Attendance Award for demonstrating exceptional commitment to the program. <p>The Youth Automotive Training Center awarded The Rossmeyer Family the prestigious annual Jim Moran Award. Terry Routley (center), executive director of YATC, presented the recognition to Sandy Rossmeyer (right), president of Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley-Davidson and Shelly Rossmeyer-Pepe (left), general manager of Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley-Davidson, in acknowledgment of their family’s extraordinary dedication to the school and its students for more than 30 years.</p>
<p>After a year of challenges provided by the pandemic, the Youth Automotive Training Center hosted a scaled-back, outdoor graduation ceremony that celebrated the dedication and drive of all the members of the Class of 2021.</p>

<p>The Youth Automotive Training Center is proud to present the 14 graduates of the Class of 2021.</p>
