JM Family Associates Support One Another Through Annual Fundraising Campaign

Associates contribute a record-breaking $134,000 toward Associates Helping Associates fund

In an impressive show of support and solidarity, JM Family associates came out in record numbers to take part in the company’s annual Associates Helping Associates (AHA) fundraising drive. Through their generous support, the company raised nearly $134,000 for the program and increased the number of contributors by 37% over the prior year.

“We are beyond grateful to our incredibly generous associates who rallied to show their support of one another through this campaign,” said Lisa Davis, manager of Corporate Community Impact, JM Family. “The donations generated by our week-long campaign will ensure this unique program continues to be available to those who need it most for years to come.”

Established in 2006, AHA funds are allocated to provide immediate help for associates during life’s most troubling times – from the loss of a loved one to significant home damage which creates a financial hardship. All full or part-time associates are eligible to apply for a contribution from the fund when needed and, since its inception 15 years ago, the fund has distributed close to $1.5 million to more than 770 associates. An Application Review Committee, made up of fellow associates, considers all applications prior to financial distribution.

While associates can donate to the program anytime during the year, the annual AHA fundraising campaign ran from April 5 – 12, 2021. Participants who made a minimum $25 donation were entered into a virtual raffle game for the chance to win prizes, including JM Family swag, Hoffman’s Chocolates gift baskets or gift cards.
