Corey Benish

Corey Benish is group vice president and chief operating officer of Information Technology Services (ITS) at JM Family Enterprises, Inc., a privately held company with more than $20 billion in revenue and more than 5,000 associates. Rooted in automotive and united in its strong culture and core values, JM Family is in the business of helping other businesses succeed.

In his role, Benish leads JM Family’s IT and Technology Operations teams as they create value and deliver operational efficiency by aligning delivery and support services across the business. This harmonization is achieved through implementing cross-functional synergies, leveraging internal shared services and coordinating with the company’s leaders to optimize the use of technology and products. Benish actively assists the enterprise in its pursuit of a digital future, aiming to provide value to its partners and improve the experience of its associates.

With more than 25 years of experience across several industries, Benish joined JM Family in 2022 as the chief technology officer of ITS where he focused on enabling products and services through technology to support the company’s digital future. Previously, he supported the enterprise in a consulting capacity, advising SET Finance and JM&A Group through his company, CGNB Associates, which strove to help businesses understand their technology capacities, define technology strategies, and drive execution to achieve new digital capabilities.

Throughout his career, Benish has helped organizations realize enterprise value through digital products and services and held several senior technology roles at companies such as ABC Financial Services, Planet Fitness, National Dentex Corporation and AGA Medical Corporation.

Benish earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and attended the prestigious Executive Education program at Columbia Business School in New York. In addition, Benish was a long-time Child Sponsor for Compassion International, sponsoring a child through their graduation.
