Feeding South Florida® Appoints Michelle Esposito of JM Family Enterprises to its Board of Directors

Paco Vélez, president and CEO of Feeding South Florida, is pleased to announce that Michelle Esposito has been appointed to the organization’s Board of Directors for a three-year term. Esposito is vice president of IT for JM&A Group, a subsidiary of JM Family Enterprises. Rooted in automotive and united in its strong culture and core values, JM Family is in the business of helping other businesses succeed.
Serving the South Florida community for over 40 years, Feeding South Florida’s Board of Directors is a dedicated and passionate group of individuals committed to the mission of ending hunger in South Florida. Currently in South Florida, there are over 700,00 food insecure individuals, and one in nine don’t know where they will get their next meal.
“We are grateful for Michelle’s increased involvement with Feeding South Florida,” said Vélez. “She is a leader in her industry and is deeply involved in the South Florida community. Her presence will be essential to the efforts of our Board of Directors and will further solidify our longtime partnership with JM Family.”
Esposito has more than 20 years of experience in technology and technology leadership. In her role at JM Family, Esposito leads the development and execution of JM&A Group’s technology strategy, to support future growth and enable the company to deliver its services faster and more efficiently. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from Florida Atlantic University and a bachelor’s degree in business and decision information science from the University of Florida. She and her husband have five children and reside in Boca Raton, Florida.

Esposito will be essential in helping Feeding South Florida continue the rollout of its innovative programs including culinary and warehouse training, its “Food Is Medicine” initiatives such as the Mobile FARMacy and hospital pantries, the creation of cutting-edge technology designed to measure output in real time, home delivery programs, providing wraparound services like SNAP benefits, Summer BreakSpots, and so much more.
