Corporate Overview
Southeast Toyota Distributors is the world’s largest independent distributor of Toyotas. The company was established in 1968 when Jim Moran partnered with Toyota Motor Sales to help expand the automaker’s presence in the U.S. market. Today, the company distributes vehicles, parts and accessories to 177 independent Toyota dealerships in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Vehicles manufactured in North America and Japan are processed at the company’s facilities in Jacksonville, Florida and Commerce, Georgia. Southeast Toyota Distributors also supports dealers through regional sales and marketing, customer service, accessory development and sales, fleet sales and transportation and logistics.

Vehicle Processing Centers
Blount Island Processing
Jacksonville, Florida
Located on 88 acres, Blount Island Marine Terminal began servicing dealers in 2025 as the largest vehicle processing center in Southeast Toyota’s portfolio with the capacity to process up to 165,000 vehicles annually. With the ability to receive vehicles by multiple transportation methods – ship, truck and rail, this location processes Toyotas manufactured throughout North America and Japan for distribution to the 177 dealers in the Southeast. Southeast Toyota Distributors has been operating at the Jacksonville Port Authority for more than 50 years and is one of the port’s longest-standing tenants.
Westlake Processing
Jacksonville, Florida
In 2003, the Westlake Processing Center opened on 250 acres in the Westlake Industrial Park of northwest Jacksonville. The facility includes a 50-car railhead and processes over 150,000 vehicles annually.
Commerce Processing
Commerce, Georgia
In 2020, a 350,000 square-foot inland processing facility opened in Commerce, Georgia, where vehicles are received by rail and processed for distribution primarily to dealers in Northern Alabama, the Carolinas and Northern Georgia. This sprawling 300-acre complex includes a 16-car railhead and processes 95,000 vehicles annually.
Parts Distribution Centers
Westlake Parts Supply and Distribution
Jacksonville, Florida
Located adjacent to the Westlake Vehicle Processing Center, this state-of-the-art 416,000-square-foot facility opened in 2024 and provides parts and accessories to 80 of the 177 Toyota dealers in the Southeast region. Among its innovative features is an automated storage and retrieval system accessed by robots for optimal storage and picking accuracy.
Norcross Parts Supply and Distribution
Norcross, Georgia
Serving 97 dealers throughout the Southeast region, this state-of-the-art 454,500-square-foot facility opened in 2025. The addition of this new parts distribution center — strategically located closer to the northern dealer base — has improved delivery efficiency and created more than 100 new jobs to support the increased operational capacity. Both facilities feature automated storage and retrieval systems that use robotics to streamline operations and improve accuracy.
Transportation
Southeast Transportation Systems, Inc.
Jacksonville, Florida
Auto-transport company Southeast Transportation Systems (STS) was established in July 2000 to better serve the 177 Toyota dealers within the Southeast. In 2008, a 21,500-square-foot facility was built at the Westlake Vehicle Processing Center to accommodate the company’s growth. STS currently operates a fleet of more than 100 trucks, utilizing innovative technology to help minimize emissions and increase driver and public safety.
