Great Place to Work® and Fortune Name JM Family Enterprises No. 94 on the 100 Best Companies to Work For® List for 2021

JM Family Enterprises has been named one of the 100 Best Companies to Work For® for the 23rd consecutive year by Great Place to Work® and Fortune. JM Family took the No. 94 spot on the 2021 edition of the prestigious list.

Companies were only considered if they had been a Great Place to Work-Certified™ organization.

 - Human Resources established a Pandemic Leave Toolkit which allowed the company to prevent workforce reductions or furloughs across the enterprise, while keeping associates’ compensation whole.

 - Having a team of medical professionals on-staff allowed JM Family to keep associates informed about the virus and stay on top of best practices for prevention and treatment. Their expertise was also critical in influencing company policies around workplace safety measures and return-to-the-workplace planning as the virus came under certain levels of control, among other policy decisions.

 - The company has invested in technology infrastructure at record levels and is mapping out an innovative strategy to streamline its associates’ digital experience.

 - The construction of JM Family’s new $200 million headquarters continued despite the pandemic. Key to the new campus are commitments to earning LEED and WELL certifications to ensure the workspaces align with the company’s wellness strategies and sustainability objectives.

 - Leadership communications to all associates were immediately ramped up and distributed across multiple channels – video, email, intranet and social media – to address concerns and keep everyone informed.

 - In order to affirm its ongoing commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I), the company created a new, dedicated space on its intranet to provide educational resources and to celebrate the value of a diverse corporate makeup. The company also offers various forums for associates to explore DE&I concepts and launched a very successful speaker series, giving leaders the tools to grow in their ability to support these efforts.

In addition to the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® list, JM Family also was listed among the Best Workplaces for Women [No. 56], Best Workplaces in Manufacturing & Production [No. 2] and Best Workplaces for Millennials [No. 49].
