JM Family Enterprises Climbs 34 Spots to No. 17 on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For® List
JM Family Enterprises, Inc. has been ranked No. 17 on the 2019 FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For, up from No. 51 in 2018, according to global research and consulting firm Great Place to Work and Fortune magazine. This represents the company’s 21st consecutive year on the prestigious list.
“We are honored to have made Fortune’s list for more than two decades based on the feedback of our associates,” said Brent Burns, president and CEO of JM Family. “Our founder Jim Moran started our company more than 50 years ago and always reminded us that our associates are our most important asset. We live the culture Mr. Moran created, and to this day it is the foundation that guides us in all that we do.”
This is the company’s third highest ranking (also No. 17 in 2012). JM Family’s highest ranking was No. 14 in 2003, and No. 16 in 2011.
The list is based on survey feedback from an inclusive sample of respondents who rate their workplace culture on 60-plus elements of the workplace. These include trust in managers, compensation, fairness, camaraderie and workplace traits linked to innovation.
